Article 6 of the Convention requires each Country Party to develop national strategies, plans or programs aimed at ensuring the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity or to adapt to this end its existing strategies, plans or programs which will take take into account, inter alia, the measures set out in this Convention which concern it.
